We saw our baby!

So far, so good! We saw an 11mm gestational sac today with a yolk sac. There was no fetal pole or heart beat but it is probably still too early. I am feeling a bit of relief. :)

Also, my RE is letting me take progesterone if it makes me sleep better at night. :) Thank you SO much for all of your words of encouragement over the last couple of days. Hearing your many spotting stories really did help, and you offered wonderful advice and scripture to encourage my heart. I put this verse as the background on my phone so I could read it whenever I get anxious:

SO, SO EXCITED for you! I love that verse you put as your background on your phone. I don't know if I've ever heard that one before. My favorite lately is: "I will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You." Isaiah 26:3. When is your next u/s?

I have not been on blogger much and when I first came on I saw this u/s pic and was overtaken with joy, totally assuming you were matched with a women who was VERY early in her pregnancy! Little did I know that this miracle is growing IN YOU!!!!! Que the tears..... I've kept you in constant prayers and thoughts and am overjoyed to see this miracle! Prayers to cover you as you enter this whole new realm of unfamiliar territory called PREGNANCY!

YAY!!!! That is SUCH a good sign to see the yolk sack (I always thought that's how it was spelled). We didn't see the heartbeat until 7 weeks. Anything before then is usually too early. So now you know...you really do have a bun in the oven!! And, I'm so glad you're on progesterone...even if it is just to ease your mind! When is your next appointment?

This is SUCH great news!!! I had an u/s at 6weeks 2days -ish ... and we could Baaaaaaaaarely see my little guy in there. His heartbeat was almost invisable. The doctor had to hold the "wand" so still .. but there were still times that she couldnt keep it on the screen. And his hb was on the slower side (as someone else mentioned above) but his heart is beating just perfectly these days as I'm chasing him around the house and trying to keep him out of my flower pot dirt. =)

Did they give you another u/s date. If it is somewhere after 7 weeks.. you should be able to see something by then!!!

God is GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

XOXO

Congrats Hillary!
Just wanted to give you some hope. I was pregnant un april 2010. When they did the ultrasound at 6 weeks 2 days, the tech saw two babies. One had a super low heartbeat, the other had no heartbeat and the tech said that it looked like the embryo was collapsing onto itself...no pole, and other features that didn't look positive. I left convinced that I had a vanishing twin...well, two weeks later we had the ultrasound and my two babies were perfect and healthy! The doctor said that she sees things happen all the time, and that ultrasounds should only be donefrom 8 weeks on...that way you'd know for sure...stay positive and hopeful. This is a gift that you deserve. I will be praying for you!

I just love that verse! I think it is perfect for trying times. Glad the ultrasound calmed some fears. God is in control.

Be blessed,
~Jessica
