Delayed

Everything went great at my baseline appointment today! In fact, I had my lowest FSH ever - 7.54!! (My first FSH reading in April 2009 was 8.9, then 10.1 in March 2010, and 10.9 in May 2010) Perhaps it was the CoQ-10 vitamin I've been taking? Or just the natural fluctuation? Either way, it felt like good news! I know you're only as good as your highest FSH, but it is a little positive that it's lower, right?

However, my RE is going to a conference that would fall during the end of stimming and my ER, so we decided I would take birth control pills for 10-12 days. I could have had another RE in the practice work with me and do the ER, but we just felt better sticking with my RE since we have such a history together now.

So... more waiting. But at least I know how long this waiting will be!

Hi Hillary
That is great news about your baseline appt!
I wanted to tell you that my BC was extended for a few days also because my RE was going on vacation. It was the cycle we got our BFP, so I am hoping and praying that brings you luck as well.
Hang in there with all the waiting!
Amy :)

Glad for good blood work - waiting an extra couple of days to feel confident i.e. you get your RE will be worth it in the end. Maybe the BCP will be a help :)

Fantastic FSH!!! :-) So very excited that you're going to continue forward! I was fearing it would be delayted all together. Many many prayers your way!!!

Great news on the FSH. Bummer you have to wait another 10-12 days, but you have such a good relationship with your RE I'd probably choose to wait too!

wow, great FSH! congrats! sorry you have to wait a bit more, but it sounds like your plan is perfect. having your RE will make you even more comfortable!

I don't blame you for waiting on your RE, as I would not have wanted to deal with any of the others in my practice either. I just don't know them or have a repor with them. Yea for the FSH number! If it makes you feel better, mine was 10.6 and we did go on to achieve success...so don't put too much faith in that number. And my cousins FSH was 16 and she went on to have 2 children. Just to give you some comfort...I was beyond freaked out with my 10.6 so I know how you feel, but try not to focus on that :)

Wishing you success and praying, praying, praying for you Hillary. You deserve everything wonderful!

Much Love

Yay for the good FSH! I would get so worked up over that test and I definitely think it's a good sign that it's gone down.

Your RE sounds great and I'm glad you'll be able to cycle with him. You are in good hands!
