No internet access all day!

Not to be overly dramatic or anything, but I did not have internet access all day long!!! It was so hard to see my work computer sitting right in front of me and not be able to check email. Of course, some days I'm out and about, not around a computer, etc. But on those days I'm probably busy with other fun things and don't miss it as much.

The main thing is email, which I leave open all day because I love seeing a new message (which includes any comments I receive on this blog). I don't typically check any blogs from work, but on my lunch break I sometimes go onto thenest.com. There's an awesome board there called "Trouble Trying to Conceive."

Anyway, what are your internet habits? Do you check email and/ or blogs throughout the day? Are you as addicted as I am?

Whew, I'm glad to be back online. :)

i think i check it a few times during the day. My DD doesn't like me sitting down on the computer, so it's usually only during nap time.

i was always too paranoid to check it at work, but then again i worked for a federal prison for my last job. dun dun dun.

welcome back!

Im soooooooooo addicted to checking email and blog posts! Its a bit scary actually. The power went out for about 8-9 hours around xmas..and I thought I was seriously going to go insaneeeee!!! :-) Especially, with all this IF stuff, theres such a need to stay connected with everyone and cheer them on or pick them up when they fall. God bless the internet. :-)

Hi Hillary,
I'm glad that you are back online too!
I am seriously addicted to my personal email. I probably check it around 8 times a day! I love getting emails from my friends. And I love reading my blogging friend's posts after work.

Hi Hillary, thanks so much for your comment! I'm doing ok, but things were a bit tough last week. I haven't really felt much like blogging. I don't have the words. I feel terrible that I haven't been keeping up with everyone..time goes by so quickly!

I think the little break has been good though to keep my mind off things :) I'll be posting again soon and catching up with everyone...

Hope you are doing well - I liked your last post. Everything will be ok :)

I'm not on thenest.com (t-ttc board) much at all lately.....but that used to be my obsession. Especially around the time I was going through IVF#1 and had some cycle buddies (which I believe are all pregnant now).
Facebook is an obsession as well as checking my blog list to see updated blogs.
I also LOVE people.com!

Yup....I'd be lost without internet all day! :-)

I am on the internet all day long, and when I'm not I get it on my blackberry. I'm a nut, lol.

Total addict here. It's worse when I'm at work. I keep my blog and all 3 email accounts open all day, lol. When I'm at home I check in quickly, but nothing like when I'm at the office.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It really stinks that we are apart of the fantasic world of both partners having issues. I enjoyed your last post on being okay. It will be. I keep trying to tell myself that. Keep looking at the big picture is my new motto.

As for the blogs/internet...totally addicted!!! I check my email at least 3 or 4 times an hour at work as well as myspace & facebook, but what is weird is that when I am home I do not go on; well I hardly ever go on.

I am addicted to the point of it affecting my job performance. But, then again, I hate my job, so that might have something to do with it. :)

Guilty.

I was getting ready to blog today when the director gave us the news of a possible lay off. Ugh, and no my email habits aren't the cause of the lay offs.

I tend to check my email and blogs between regular work. Lord help me if I get a job where I can't! Ugh.
